This Week in Student Ministry: Advance Recap

Advance weekend was a success! God moved in the lives of our students and our community. We had a total of 124 students from Redemption and 118 students that came with other churches. God moved to lead 24 students to make first time decisions for Jesus!!!

Yesterday, we had the privilege of baptizing six of them.

It’s also worth celebrating that students heard the Word, grew in community, and served our local neighborhoods. During our mission projects, students from Redemption helped beautify three schools in West Mobile, threw a block party at a local apartment complex, canvassed neighborhoods in West Mobile, and helped clean a couple’s yard from our church.

There were 12 families that opened up their homes to host our students, 21 college leaders who helped lead the groups, and dozens of other volunteers who made this weekend possible.

Pray for the endurance of those who began a walk of faith with Jesus this weekend and pray for the continued impact of our ministry!
