Nathan Schneider

resize.aspThanks for checking out my blog!  My name is Nathan Schneider and I serve as the Student Pastor at Redemption Church in Saraland, AL. It’s been a lot of fun as I’ve enjoyed serving God and hanging out with some of the coolest students/families around!

Originally, I’m from a small town in Pennsylvania.  I eventually moved to Florida, where I studied at Palm Beach Atlantic University.  I graduated in 2009 with a degree in Christian Leadership.  Then, I moved to Wake Forest, NC, where I attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  I graduated with a Master of Divinity in the spring of 2012.

The Lord has blessed me with a beautiful wife and best friend, Michelle.  We met on the first day of classes our freshman year of college. From the moment I saw her I was captivated. It took her a little while longer to begin an interest in me, but eventually we started a relationship. We’ve been friends/dating since that first class and we married on July 25, 2009! Together, we now have two children, Ezra and Karis.

The mission of our Student Ministry at Redemption Church is to “glorify Jesus Christ by making disciples of students and their families in South Alabama, America, and the world.” The mission of our student ministry is the purpose of my writing:

  • GLORIFY Jesus Christ
  • MAKE Disciples
  • EQUIP Students and Families
  • REACH the World

I love being your Student Pastor,

Nathan Schneider
